Workspace 365's Pre-International Women’s Day Event: Empowering Women
The future is female, and the business world is no exception.
In the spirit of celebrating International Women's Day, Workspace 365, our official headquarters in Melbourne, recently hosted a pre-International Women’s Day event to shed light on the incredible journeys of female entrepreneurs who are breaking barriers and reshaping the business landscape. Hosted by General Manager Rebecca Freestone, the event featured a panel of inspiring women working in various industries and roles.
Among the panel guest speakers was our very own Candace Aditya Chaudhury, our Co-Founder and Head of Operations.
Candace founded Elephant In The Boardroom in 2017, with a vision of assisting businesses in better connecting with their audience and customers through the use of technology. Through Elephant in the Boardroom, Candace supports women's empowerment, giving women opportunities to excel and lead and putting them at the forefront of decision-making spaces. Candace is proud to work with the phenomenal female workforce of Elephant in the Boardroom - the intelligent, strong-minded and empowered female designers, software developers, content creators and digital marketers.
The panel of inspiring women also included Elizabeth Ninnes, the CFO of Talaria and Deb Fitrolakis, Business Coordinator for Life Activities Clubs Victoria (LACVI). The incredible General Manager of Workspace 365, Rebecca Freestone, presented a warm greeting to everyone in attendance, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, and emphasised the value of honouring the achievements made by women in business.
Topics discussed included personal anecdotes and experiences, industry insights, challenging stereotypes and breaking down barriers for women in business.
We were truly elated to be a part of this event, which provides an opportunity for women to recognise and celebrate their successes, exchange stories and encourage one another to pursue excellence in the world of business.
The event was presented by Workspace 365 on March 6th and met every expectation— from a delicious morning tea, an inspiring panel, and the sound of celebratory glasses being raised.
